Installation
Procedure & Details
Work safely. Use all possible safety equipment and safe
procedures.
Contact your state or
federal worker safety official for professional assistance.
User assumes all
risks.
Note: Do not over-tighten the pivot arm
nut. The stabilizer must pivot
freely on the tie rod arm at this point.

Tools not included
with stabilizer purchase.
First, check to make
sure the tie rod clamp bracket rotates freely on the stabilizer end stud.
Then, jack up front
of car and place on Jackstands

Turn wheels straight
ahead
Extend the stabilizer
to half its travel (approx 3 inches or 75 cm)

Install the Axle
clamp about 3 inches to the right of the left (passenger side) Spring Perch
nut.
Tighten the axle
clamp nut securely.
Install the Tie rod
clamp over the tie rod, position the stabilizer approximately level with the
axle and tighten the two bolts securely.
Do not force the stabilizer to a position….let it find its own vertical
position when clamping to the tie rod.
Move the wheels
completely to the left and to the right to assure full travel of the steering
mechanism and that there is no binding.
Note the additional
damping of motion of the front wheels with the stabilizer installed.
Be sure to check the
tightness of the mounting hardware frequently.
